Last nights game was the worst I have seen the Rangers in many, many years. It was very disappointing to watch, but it reminded me that every major league team can get it together for at least one game in a season (Seattle) and every major league team can put up a major, major stinker. The Rangers did just that. Derek Holland had his worst start ever and looked lost on the mound in the second inning, Yoshi was terrible, and the rest of the pen was not up to snuff. The only plus is that the offense scored 8 runs and kept playing long after they knew it was a lost cause. Today is an off day, and tomorrow they start a series with the surging Angels, a team that has come around and is playing its best baseball of the season so far. It’s time to hit the reset button and get back to playing baseball the way they have been playing it for 3 seasons now. It’s time to be the best again.
