My take is that the the Choo train has left the station, and while I give John Daniels his best management grade for not signing Josh Hamilton to a long term deal. I give him equal bashing for signing Choo. The Rangers are on the hook for $14 million this season and $20-$million a year through the year 2020. If you have a baby born today, that child will be in Kindergarten before the Rangers are through paying on his contract.
It looks like we will see Luke Jackson or Chi Chi Rodriguez much sooner than anyone anticipated.
