Who is Cody Eppley?

A little history on Cody Eppley, for any Ranger fan who does not know that much about him (FYI, unless you are a nerd like me, you probably do not know that much about him). Cody was drafted by the Rangers in 2008 in the 43rd round of the amateur draft. He is from Dillsburg, Penn.  He has pitched 173 innings in the minors with a career ERA of 2.39, here are the breakdowns:
2008
Arizona Fall League:  2-2, 2.10 ERA, 34 strikeouts to 5 walks in 19 games.
2009
A ball: 1-3, 2.93 ERA, 76 strikeouts to 6 walks in 37 games.
2010
A+ ball: 2-0, 0.00 ERA, 24 strikeouts to 1 walk in 14 games.
AA ball: 1-1, 1.19 ERA, 27 strikeouts to 9 walks in 19 games.
AAA ball: 2-1, 4.08 ERA, 31 strikeouts to 13 walks in 18 games.
2011
AAA ball: 1-0, 0.00 ERA, 9 strikeouts to 3 walks in 6 games.

He has always been a relief pitcher, having no starts in the minors.  For the record, he also has 32 career saves in all of his stops in the minors ( 13 in AA or AAA ball). He is a right handed pitcher who could work out well in that set up roll that everyone is so worried about right now, if he can pitch as well in the majors as he did in the minors. He has moved through the system fast, and I hope that will not be a problem! I look forward to seeing what he can add to a team that is really struggling right now.
