Of Profar and The Athletics

Jurkson Profar had his major league debut yesterday, and in case you missed it, which I am sure you did not, he made Rangers history. He is the first Ranger in history to hit a homerun in his first at bat, and it was a long homerun at that. Profar is a great prospect, one of the best in all of baseball, and it is good to see him get the September call up this season. He will be a difference maker in the future, just like Mike Olt.

The Oakland Athletics are starting to annoy me. They have been one of the best teams in baseball since the All Star break, if not the best team. That needs to stop! They are now only 3 games behind the Rangers and have the second best record in all of baseball, tied with the Yankees. It has gotten so bad that I have to root for the Angels to win the next 3 games against the Athletics! The Rangers and Athletics still have 7 head to head games with the Athletics, and as long as they take care of the A’s when they play them, things are going to be fine. I just hope the Rangers can take care of them when the time comes. Lets Go Rangers!!
