The Rangers magic number now sits at 3 after the Rangers took care of the Athletics today. The offense showed up in a big way today putting up 9 runs against A’s pitching that has been. Otho g short of amazing this season. The series split means that the A’s could not get any closer to the Rangers than they were before they came to town Monday. The Rangers now have to go head to head against the Angels, and a good series will not only clinch the division but knock the Angels out at the same time. So here’s to winning the division this weekend, like Sunday when The Hague Sports Podcast will be at the game. Just a suggestion. I would actually be fine if they clinch before Sunday.
