Webb Means Feliz Remains Closer (For Now)

The Rangers have added Brandon Webb to the staff and will look to get him to replace the hole in the rotation left by Cliff Lee. Webb was the NL Cy Young winner in 2006 and has struggled with injuries ever since 2009, making just 1 start. He has a career record of 87-62, all with the Diamondbacks. If he stays healthy, it could be another great pickup for this Ranger franchise whom appeared in the 2010 World Series. The Rangers were discussing moving Feliz or Ogando to the starting rotation, but Ron Washington has made it clear that he wants Feliz to be his closer for the 2011 season. Look for the Rangers to make a few more moves before all is said and done this off season, but so far I believe they have done a good job as far as pickups go.
