Promotions The Texas Rangers Should Consider

yupermanWith the anniversary of five cent beer night being the other day, I thought I would take a few moments to share my thoughts on what I think could be some great promotions for the Texas Rangers in the near future. I know that all the promotions are set for this season, but maybe I can sneak one of mine in before the end of the season. You never know unless you put it out there, right?

Yu Darvish Yuperman Cape night. Exactly like a Superman cape, except instead of as “S” on the back of the cape there will be a “Yu” on the back of it. This is to promote that he is the superhero of the Texas Rangers rotation and the fact that he is kind of superhuman with some of his pitches. You all know I’m right.

Shocking Adrian Beltre Bobble head. Just like a regular Adrian Beltre Bobble head, except if you touch the toy on the head. If you attempt to take his helmet off or touch his head, it shocks you with a nice little current of electricity. It will help remind all fans that Beltre doesn’t like to have his head touched, in case you sometimes forget.

Ron Washington Managerial Suggestion Box Night. Wash loves it when the media questions his decision making on the field or asks him about it in the press conference after the game, so why not let the fans get involved? They can place “suggestion box’s” all over the stadium where fans could tell the Rangers skipper what they would have done differently in certain game situations. That will go over really well.

Alexi Ogando Ping Pong Paddle Night. Each fan gets a set of ping pong paddles and a ping pong ball. One paddle says “Bullpen” on it, on paddle says “rotation” on it, and the ball is named Alexi Ogando. The first to crack the ball during the ping pong game wins!

Injury Roulette Board Game. A board game with a spinner, and on the spinner are all of the Texas Rangers players. Simply spin the spinner to see who the next Ranger to go down to injury will be! Loads of fun for the whole family! Bonus games that comes with it: Re-injured – the squeal game!

Do you have any good ideas for Texas Rangers promotions that should be considered? If so, leave your comments below or on my Facebook or Google+ page or tweet me, find me on Fancred, on Linkdin, or anywhere else baseball sites are sold.
