The Texas Rangers came off of a successful four game series against the Dodgers, even with the balk off that occurred last night. The Rangers took three out of the four games, including beating Clayton Kershaw, which is not an easy task. Now they move on to play a team that is not quite as talented over all as the Dodgers were, the Chicago White Sox.
The White Sox are currently sitting at 28-37, which is the worst record in the American League right now, right ahead of the Oakland A’s. But that doesn’t mean it will be an easy series. The Rangers have to face off against Chris Sale tonight, and Sale is having another good season. Sale is 6-3 with a 3.01 ERA, and he strikes out a lot of players. It will be a tough match up for the Rangers hitters.

It should be an entertaining series this weekend, starting tonight. I now feel like every time Joey Gallo goes to the plate it is a much watch at bat for the Rangers, and I am thinking more and more that it will be very difficult to send the young man back down when Adrian Beltre is healthy again. Joey should stay, and I am starting to really believe that he will. He looks way more ready than I thought he would.
