Texas Rangers Head North

morelandThe Texas Rangers are in a slide right now, and that slide is something that happens in baseball, but it still makes me nervous. After having an amazing May and a great first half of June, the Texas Rangers are having trouble winning games and scoring runs. Colby Lewis yesterday just couldn’t execute the shutdown inning either time his team gave him the lead against Sonny Gray and the A’s.

The Rangers now head on the road again, where their record is 22-17. Surprisingly, the Rangers have been playing better on the road than at home. Flights to Toronto can be booked through Hipmunk.com to watch Texas have their best chance at winning. Take in an entire series on the road by reserving hotels in Toronto through Hipmunk as well, starting from $110 per night. Toronto is a little cooler than Texas this time of year and the way the Texas Rangers have been playing on the road, it really is a good chance to take in some great Texas Rangers baseball!

The Rangers will send Nick Martinez, Yovani Gallardo and Chi Chi Gonzalez to the hill. The Blue Jays only have tonights starter listed, and that is Mark Buehrle. This should be a good series, both teams have been playing pretty well (until the last week for the Texas Rangers), and I really think that the Rangers need to get back on track as they are now tied for second with the Angels.

Every baseball season has it ups and downs, and there is still a very long way to go, so I am not at the severe panic point right now, but if the get back to .500 then I most likely will be at the panic point. I feel like they will turn it around this weekend though.
