Chris Davis asked the Rangers today that if there was not a spot on the opening day roster for him with the Rangers, he wants to be traded to a team that will put him on the major league roster. This, in my mind, is the end of the Chris Davis saga. I think that the Rangers will get rid of Chris pretty quick. I will be sad to see him go, I have always liked CD, but it is time for him to go. If he is asking to be traded, then he will not be happy unless he is either traded or playing everyday. Who would you play him everyday for? Adrian Belter? I don’t think so. Mitch Moreland? Probably not. Michael Young? No sir. All I hope for is that they do not give him away, but that they get something in return. Keep checking back often for more news and commentary.
