First Time Through

The Rangers have now pitched all 5 starters in their rotation, and if you did not notice somehow, they are 5-0 the first time through. Yesterday was a very impressive game, because the Rangers faced a pitcher that dominated them for most of the game and still won. They are not just a team that can out slug you, they are also a team that can out pitch you. The Rangers starters ERA the first time through the rotation is 2.69. That is really low, if you were wondering. Also, the Rangers can slug their way to a win, but they have not needed to yet. I look for a real low scoring game tonight with C.J. going against King Felix.

Also, Nelly’s 4 game HR streak to start the season came to an end last night, but he is still on a tear to start the season. Nelly looks MVP quality after roughly 1 week of play. Here are the questions I am wondering:

1. Will Nelly stay healthy?

2. Will Kinsler stay healthy?

3. How will the rotation look the second time through?

4. How long will they keep 8 guys in the pen.

I look forward to tonight’s game, I for one would like to see if they have what it takes to put some runs on the board against King Felix.
