Off-Season Series on Prospects

The Texas Rangers have a ton of good prospects, probably more than they have had maybe ever. From pitching to infield to outfield, the Rangers have a stacked farm system.

While Rangers fans want to see all of the prospects don a Rangers uniform, that is not going to happen. Over the next few months I will be doing a prospect list here on the Ranger Report.

I usually like to pick a topic to write a series on over the winter break, and I have never done a ranking prospects list. I may make it an annual thing.

I know that there are many Rangers fans enjoy reading about prospects. I will rank to top 20. We will also get as many as we can on the podcast over the winter.

If you enjoy our work here and on the podcast, we have a Patreon and a buy me a coffee. We only make money through donations and sponsors (we have one), so any help would be appreciated.

We plan on traveling to spring training in 2023 to cover the team for a week. Again, it is expensive for a teacher to travel!

I wanted to also say thank you to everyone for all the support we got during the 2022 season. Now back to prospects.

I am not going to separate pitching and position players, I am just going to run down my top 20 as I see it. I will be including players who have made their debuts but are still at rookie status.

I hope you all enjoy the series. I look forward to discussing it with you all this off-season.
