The Ranger Report Podcast Expands it Reach with New Network Partner

Sometimes in life opportunity presents itself with little to no work. Other times you make it happen with your hard work and dedication.

In 2008, Texas Rangers fan Ben Dieter began his podcast journey on a show called “The Hague Sports Podcast“. Ben and his friend Nathan Hague podcasted for many years on that show talking about sports in general, Ben being the baseball guy.

Where The Show Has Been

As the show got underway, Ben decided to do a Rangers only podcast in 2011. Thus The Ranger Report Podcast was born.

Through the years the podcast has been consistent on and off. It has changed several times, and in 2018 Ben came back to doing it consistently.

In 2020, Ben welcomed new co-host CJ Berryman and the show really took off. The podcast went from hundreds of listens to thousands and now to tens of thousands of downloads a year.

A year later the show partnered with Dallas Sports Nation to help expand our reach and our show, and join a site that is doing great work.

Where the Show is Going

After meeting and discussing plans for the future, the show decided to have a presence on YouTube. By the way you should subscribe.

Ben was then contacted by a new network called the “Fans First Sports Network” early in 2023. Ben and Brian Salvatore talked about The Ranger Report Podcast becoming a part of this new network as their Texas Rangers show.

Becoming a part of this network will again expand our reach as a show as well as give the show more financial flexibility. They can take more trips to Globe Life Field, Riders Field and Dell Diamond Field. It also gives the show more guests from other teams to talk with.

Ben and CJ are excited to be joining the Fans First Sports Network and can’t wait to see what the future holds for the podcast.

Why the Show is Successful

The show wouldn’t be successful without it’s listeners. Those of you who listen, interact and share the show’s content make it possible for us to keep going.

Ben and CJ have had discussions, debates, and ideas tossed around with you all over the past three years and 167 episodes and we thank you.

The guys can’t wait to bring in more listeners and viewers so we can continue the conversation.
