Another Series Win

The Rangers in a wild game 3 of the series beat Detroit 13-9. David Murphy was the man last night jacking 2 homeruns along with collecting 5 rbi. Roy Oswalt pitched a good game, not a great game, but it was good enough to win last night. The Rangers are now 18 games over .500 (47-29) and have the A’s coming to town, a team that they owe some revenge to for what happened in Oakland a few weeks back. The Rangers have now won every series they have played in since that debacle in Oakland, and the way they are pitching and playing ball right now, I do not see why that trend will not continue. Josh Hamilton still does not look comfortable at the plate, but Cruz, Nap, Murphy and even Leyons Martin are all starting to look pretty good at the plate. The Rangers have a great oportunity to put some distance between themselves and the Angels, who are playing the Blue Jays, and we all know that the Blue Jays are a team that can hit a few homeruns. Scott Feldman is going tonight, and he is coming off his best start of the season, and his first win. If Feldman can keep the ball down, he is very hard to hit. Lets all hope  that he can keep the ball down tonight. The Rangers still have the best record in baseball and they are winning series, and as of last night they are scoring some runs again.

Also, I got to ride the Fox Sports Southwest Fan Express to the game last night and it was a blast. Had fun with Bill Coates and all of the ESPN East Texas crew that went as well as all the great fans that were on the bus with us. Got to meet the Fox Sports Southwest Girls and it was a blast! Looking forward to Ranger baseball tonight! GO RANGERS!!
