Season Changer

The Rangers and Angels game last night was being billed all over the metroplex as a must win game for the Texas Rangers, and it did not look good for a long while. But the Rangers came back from a 7-1 deficit, and then in the 10th inning they came back from a 10-7 deficit to finish off the Angels in an 11-10 victory that was epic. Yu Darvish was terrible, Joe Nathan was not good, but that offense, oh that offense was finally good again when they had to be. Seeing the Rangers hit in the clutch last night brought a tear to my eyes! And I am not sure Nelson Cruz’s homerun has come down yet. The Rangers looked much more loose last night, and it was good to see.

Tonight we will see the Rangers debut of Ryan Dempster and Soto, and I think it is going to be good. Dempster is not used to pitching to the AL, so that may cause a few problems early on in the game. He is a professional pitcher and he is very good at what he does. He will be starting opposite to C.J. Wilson, so I am really hoping for one of those Wilson games where he gives up mulitple homeruns. If the Rangers can win tonight, they will have lost no ground to the Angels. That is pretty amazing seeing how bad all of us felt on Tuesday night. I just hope the offense is back to stay.
