Series Win

The Rangers looked good against the Angels in all 3 games, even thought they lost the middle game. I was very impressed with Derek Holland in the game the Rangers lost, as it was not his fault that the team lost. Derek looked together in that game, and what ever Ron went out and said to him, it worked! Friday, Alexi continued to show us what he is capable of, and today, even without his best stuff, C.J. did alright. He did not get the win, but his team did, and that is what is important. This would have been the second series win in a row if game 3 against the A’s would have counted. I was also impressed with Brett Tomko today. The hit Abreu got off of him for the 2 RBI was a lucky hit. Brett came in with bases loaded, and he got out of it with the game tied. I think he is a keeper in that bull pen, and if you go back to spring training articles I wrote, I believe I told you he would be a big deal for the team. Also, I do not understand why Chavez is getting playing time right now. He does not look good at all so far, at the plate or in the field. Sometimes, as a fan, I question Washington’s decisions on who to play. Although, I must say his new lineup is working out pretty well. The Rangers have a big week ahead and it culminates in a tough series against the Phillies. I will preview the next two series coming up soon. thanks for reading.
