My last article was about how the Rangers reminded the Angels that they were the reigning AL West Champs. The Angels, in return, reminded the Rangers that they have won 5 out of the last 7 AL West crowns an that they won’t go down easy. Point taken. The Angels won the series against the Rangers, snapping their 12 game win streak and handing the Rangers a two game losing streak. And to make matters worse, the Rangers have the Blue Jays coming in this weekend, a team that the Rangers have had some trouble handling in Arlington or anywhere for that matter over the past few seasons. The trade deadline is almost here and I think it is high time that the Rangers go ahead and get a deal done and have a pen we can all count on, because right now, we don’t. But don’t lose hope Rangers fans, we are still in the lead by 4 games, and it is a long season. The Rangers will bounce back from this little losing streak and still win the West.
